I currently draw Tingatinga (cartoons) of animals and I continue to learn Tingatinga cartoons of people & fine art. My Tingatinga tutor is Iddi kitongo.

PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL EXIBITIONS:

I have participated in different exhibitions in Tanzania & also in Japan which took place in Tokyo at a hotel called Royal Hotel. I learnt a lot from different artists in Tokyo. The exhibition in Tokyo was organized by the Tanzanian High Commissioner to Japan, Mr. E.E.E. Mtango on 9th September 2008 - 23rd September, 2008. The exhibition was a success.

ART HISTORY:
I began drawing when in primary school in 1992, (Pencil sketches) and continued drawing in Secondary School. In 1996 I learnt to draw Tingatinga at Morogoro Stores (Oysterbay) and had this opportunity because my Father was among the Artists.
Apart from Tingatinga I also draw pictures of knives, impression, abstract, cubism and was taught to me by my teacher Mr. David Kyando.

PURPOSE OF DRAWING

1.I desired to draw Tingatinga type of art because it's the only art that has its origin in Tanzania and therefore encouraged me to learn.
2.Earning a living because art was my only source of income.
3.To expose my Country and myself internationally and also increase my government's income through the tourism sector.
4.To entertain and decorate places whether homes hotels etc.
5.To teach, critisicise, and educate the society through art.

EXPECTATIONS
Art being my career, my expectations are to expose this art form internationally and an look for a bigger market. I intend to sell my artwork to increase my wages, meet my personal needs and increase my education.

MY BRIEF HISTORY
I learnt how to draw (fine art) under my teacher Fred Hallah. To date I can draw Abstract, fine art, and knife painting.

REASON FOR LEARNING DRAWING
1.I liked to draw from a tender age.
2.Increase my wages.

REASON WHY I LIKE THESE TYPES OF ARTS.
1.FINE ART: I get to draw something as I see it and I enjoy
2.ABSTRACT: Through this I can express my feelings in different ways.
3.KNIFE: In this I can expand in Business so as to satisfy my clients. I learnt this Art in 2005.

GOALS
Since drawing is my job, my goals are:
I sell my drawings to customers to earn a living
When my work is widely known I would like to draw fine art.
I have been exposed to different places and environments hence exposed to various types of art forms like the club for drawing children's books in 1999-2005. I also joined another club called day art of which I am still a member.
I participated in a graffiti competition, organized by British council in 2007, and won by abstract drawing.

MY BRIEF HISTORY:
I have finished my first school cycle in 1996, but i have not been continued.
Then, i came in on Dar-es-Salaam in 1999, install at my sister who is married to an artist painter tingatinga. His name is Chombo Rashid, it was my teacher to paint the style of tingatinga.
I have acquired great knowledge after several years.
GOALS:
I love much "l man on the march" of Giacometti, and will wish for reach a compromise between modern art and the concept of tingatinga

MY BRIEF HISTORY:
I paint since 1993.
After finishing my first school cycle, j have agree with the "Bagamoyo College of Art » for a period of three months only.
Then, i am income on Dar es Salaam, where j have regained my uncle who was a great artist painter, his name is Max Thomas Kamundi, which has helped me to become what I am now.

GOALS:
I would like become a painter recognized, and be a ambassador of the African art ; so I can meet the artists disadvantaged.
My dream is to have my own workshop, and for that I have much work.

MY BRIEF HISTORY:
I did not follow special studies, but I paint for my pleasure since 1992.
During my first level of education,i have participated in various exhibitions, Artworks inter, and I have many awards.
Then, i have been able to continue my studies, and therefore I am go back in the city to live my painting.
In 2008, j have given my canvases in my friend and brother Agustino, for that they can be sold to Slipway

GOALS:
My biggest ambition is to become a painter known internationally, in the arts and and advertisements d Africa and Tanzania.
